Carbon Collect breaks industry myths, proving that scalable, quiet, and efficient Direct Air Capture can be achieved with a lean team, innovative design, and world-class partnerships.
We keep hearing it, “To reach commercial readiness in Direct Air Capture, you’ll need a billion dollars and hundreds of staff from the get-go,” even before delivering a single large capture facility. That has become the industry myth. And it’s holding innovation back.
At Carbon Collect, we’ve taken a different path. We reached TRL7 with a lean team, deep technical knowhow, and a network of world-class partners in research, engineering, advanced manufacturing, and AI. Our Gen-II system delivers a step-change in materials that improve thermal efficiency and significantly reduce the carbon intensity of core components. The regeneration chambers are built to last 50+ years. The recyclable sorbent structures are produced robotically at automotive scale. Gen-III is in development and will enable us to launch our first commercial projects from 2026.
The difference? We design for modularity. We scale with partners. We embed AI and deep reinforcement learning for optimisation. We focus on energy and capture efficiency. We use wind to deliver CO₂ to the system. No DAC fans.
And the billion dollars for first of a kind systems and corporate structures resembling corporate behemoths? We prefer to focus our spending on advancements and machines for emissions mitigation, while keeping overhead to a minimum. Quiet progress. Real delivery. More to come.
